Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up on a tour bus, so some of my first musical memories are falling asleep behind a bass amp backstage ha!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? COIN, I'm Not Afraid Of Music Anymore Dayglow, Fuzzybrain Phoebe Bridgers, Punisher Punisher is my all time favorite album. I listened to it like 8 times when it came out, and it has gotten me through so much. Fuzzybrain really showed me what was possible as a young self produced indie artist. The COIN record is inspiring so much.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Postcard People” This song feels like it is Jettee at my best. It was a song that reawakened my love for songwriting and it feels like the indie pop, Beatle-y way I want to go with my music. It is an anthem about distance summer love.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It's crazy to look back, we have gone on 3 tours this year, this last one being all sold out rooms. Playing a sold out LA Troubadour show was unreal, hearing people sing back the songs I wrote in my garage in a sold out venue that legendary!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things! We're just getting started! Lot's more tours, a full record, opening for some of our favorite artists!
