If they knew I carved into the bark of that old tree

Both our names divided by a heart designed by me

Well, I'd be in the county jail and wishing I was free

Deep in the interior of East Yosemite

If they knew I slept next to their famous waterfall

Glad to rest where I can't text or accept any calls

Though that wall of sound would drown it all out thankfully
