 Still Going Strong

 I walked into a place downtown and she was standing there at the bar 

 Said whats your name there girl, never seen your pretty little smile before

 I asked her about her future plans, she said a rich old man might do

 Well I'm old, but aint  got a dime, that's what I told her too 

 I told her money can't buy happiness, you best believe thats true  

 In my wildest dreams never thought I'd meet a girl like you

 I guess she knew figured out she was play kinda hard to get

 But I wasn't giving up on her, I told her plain and straight 

 

I get that real good feeling, when her lips touch mine  

Close my eyes I'm in paradise, my heart fills with butterflies

When she holds me tight, it feels like home, it's like music to my ears 

We're still going strong, after all these years 

 Said I'd call tomorrow and maybe we could have a date

 Pick you up at your place around about a half past eight

 When a girl like you shows up, a man feels like settles down

 We ended up back at her place, we hugged and kissed for hours
