Just an Old Farmer

He's nothing more than just an old farmer

Hard work is all that he has ever known

He's just a simple man

Working a piece of land

Living by the seeds that he has sown

When the sun comes up

There's coffee in his cup

From the front porch he greets a brand new day

He stretches out his arms

Looks out across the farm

And in a soft voice you can hear the old man say
