I've been going where I shouldn't

In my mind it's a frightening place

Where no one should ever go inside

Yet I remain there on my own terms

Like a fish back in water

And my heart stands still

As my world it gets smaller

And I can't escape it

Believe me I've tried

I run for the exit

I'm missing the signs
