Sanctuary

In a collapse, I'm crawling

A grain of sand is falling

You are my sanctuary

Fleeting peace

Imparting loss in between

And with the rush I'm falling harder

It's caving in on me

Through the eye

Unable to breathe

The frame has decayed

And I'm having trouble placing the name

Peering through the window hoping

To break the rain

Glass cracked

Paint faded

Halcyon vanishing

Everything is changing

Falling into oblivion

If I could only find myself

Seeking shelter

In a calm before the storm

Deafening thunder comes crashing as I lose my mind

Blindly stumbling in the dark
