Policies made of politics are the problems of today

I’m not here to call them out or judge them

I can't save the day

Promises from the prominent but they’re preaching all the same

I might go and call you out but you won’t listen to me say

We are the broken

And complicated souls

The only way we live this life

Is not to die alone

This isn’t an answer

Or a way to live  this life

The only thing I’ve ever known is

Truth is that I don’t know nothing

Some say that people change or stay the same

And only time will tell us what we’ve all gained

Common sense in future tense doesn’t make sense anyways

Is this a problem we won’t resolve then?

If it’s a problem shouldn’t we solve them?

Why do we live like we are the chosen ones

To live another day

We are the broken
