She said, "But son, I ain't got anywhere to stay

They just put me out of my house"

He said, "Well, ma'am, You know, I work for the Division of Health and Rehabilitative Services

And we find senior citizens all the time

Around with all the fixed income that can't meet the monthly bills

But ma'am, here's my card, and if You get in the car with me

I'll take You downtown to the office, and we'll get You somewhere to stay"

They went on downtown before night came

They had the old lady in a house with more furniture than she had before the moment came

They even had a rocking chair in the house

And when that old lady looked around the house

She took those seat in the rocking chair

Oh Lord, she looked up, she said, "Lord, Lord, I knew You will do it!

Because I read in Your Word one day

Where You said the righteous will never be forsaken (You keep on)

And I've never seen the seed begging for bread (proving Yourself)
