“I selected these tunes because they sum up everything that I listened to growing up, as well as the music that had a deep influence in my career,” Kiki Morente tells Apple Music. Born in Granada in 1989, Kiki belongs to a distinguished musical dynasty. His parents are singer Enrique Morente and dancer Aurora Carbonell, while his sisters, Soleá and Estrella, also followed musical paths. As expected, flamenco tradition plays a huge part in such Kiki albums as El Cante (2021) and Azabache (2024). “My playlist includes songs that inspire me and evoke childhood memories,” he says. “I see myself reflected in them, and the performers provided a huge reference point in my career. I hope you like them.”
