Young Miko says she wrote a lot of her latest album att. specifically with the live show in mind. “I thought about how we’d be able to deconstruct certain songs in order to make them a completely different experience from [the album],” she tells Apple Music. For the fast-rising Puerto Rican rapper, performing is also a way of connecting, and her XOXO Tour brings a new sense of intimacy. “This tour is all about connecting on a deeper level with fans and myself,” she says. “I’ve opened up in ways I've never done before.” That vulnerability comes through onstage, and fans will get to see a new side of the urbano star. “In a live show, you’re able to see the physical language of an artist—their expressions, and how they get lost in the music,” she says. “That’s when you truly know which tracks really hit home for them, and I find that to be so special. I’m not afraid of opening up on this tour and letting myself feel whatever I’m feeling without any fear.”
