In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I vividly remember walking, about 10km from Home to studio to record my first ever song titled 'Real Rap". The studio was in Kamwokya, a local slum area in Uganda and we stayed in Mpererwe at the time. Worst part is i never got to record that day.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, Born Sinner (Deluxe Version) Nas, Illmatic The Notorious B.I.G., Ready to Die (The Remaster) ILLMATIC was my first ever full introduction to rap music, and boy did NAS rap, the Album was so absorbing and had much of everything. Ready to die introduced me to biggie, it had bangers. Born Sinner fed my soul while on the come up.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Transcend” I love this song because it tells who i am as an African. I always have conflicting demands on what true pan-Africanism is and it isn't, but when i got clarity on what i stand for, and who i am as a Pan-African, this song came to life.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at the UGANDA HIPHOP SUMMIT around 2013 with JT.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? More Listeners. I want to earn a bigger audience and have people appreciate my music for what it says and the message it carries.
