By the time Yahritza Y Su Esencia's lovelorn corrido “Soy El Único” became a viral sensation in 2022, the meteoric ensemble of siblings Yahritza, Mando, and Jairo Martínez was already a fine-tuned machine. They were born into a family of farmworkers in the Pacific Northwest, soaking up the evocative twang of corridos and sierreño music and grounding their own songs in a rich patchwork of Mexican tradition.
