One of the UK’s biggest pop exports, The Vamps quickly shot to the top of the charts in the early 2010s.
∙ Three of the group’s four members first connected via social media, and once their lineup was complete in 2012, they soon built an online following by posting cover videos.
∙ “Can We Dance,” their 2013 debut single, landed at No. 2 on the UK charts and was followed by four additional Top 10 songs.
∙ Their 2014 debut album, Meet the Vamps, included guest appearances from pop stars Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes.
∙ They were named Best British Group at both the 2014 and 2016 editions of the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards.
∙ Meet the Vamps was certified Platinum in the UK, and the band’s next two albums, Wake Up and Night & Day, have been certified Gold.
∙ Both 2017’s Night & Day and 2020’s Cherry Blossom reached No. 1 on the UK album charts.
