L'Impératrice: Influences
Acerca de L'Impératrice
Biografía de este/a artista
The whimsical, stylized disco of French alternative dance group L'Impératrice is the brainchild of keyboardist/composer Charles de Boisseguin. After releasing a series of EPs beginning in 2012 and adding a dedicated singer along the way, the band issued their first album, the eclectic Matahari, in 2018. Released in 2021, Tako Tsubo adopted a softer, dreamier aesthetic while remaining entirely danceable. Bilingual single "Heartquake," a like-minded collaboration with Cuco, followed in 2023. Self-produced third full-length Pulsar appeared in 2024.
