Born in Rome in 1951, Claudio Baglioni grew up singing but pursued an acting career during the late '60s. After being offered a major recording contract, he recommitted to music with his 1970 self-titled debut. The Italian pop star released over 20 more records with RCA and Sony Music over the decades that followed. In the meantime, he provided the official anthem for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, published a book of poetry (2015's Inter Nos), and toured the world. Concerts with fellow Italian pop legend Gianni Morandi were captured on 2016's Capitani Coraggiosi: Il Live. ~ John Bush & Marcy Donelson
