For more than 20 years, the award-winning Nashville trio Selah has repeatedly topped the charts while putting a modern spin on traditional Christian sounds.
∙ Founded in 1997, the group officially debuted two years later with the LP Be Still My Soul, which won a Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year.
∙ Selah grabbed another Dove Award for their sophomore album, 2001’s Press On and have gone on to win a total of eight in their career.
∙ “You Raise Me Up,” their 2004 cover of the Secret Garden original, went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian AC Songs chart.
∙ The group’s Gold-certified 2004 LP, Hiding Place, was their first to crack the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart—a feat the trio has repeated seven more times.
∙ They teamed up with celebrated Christian artists Cynthia Clawson, Nichole Nordeman, and Plumb on 2006’s Dove Award-winning Bless the Broken Road - The Duets Album.
