About Sam Austins
Artist Biography
A Detroit-born, Los Angeles-based musician, songwriter, and model, Sam Austins operates in a realm of endless sonic and stylistic opportunities. Inspired by the worlds of music, fashion, and art, the alternative pop artist found mainstream success in 2017 when his single "Fiji" with Take a Daytrip garnered over a million streams. Austins inked a deal with Atlantic Records in 2020 and began issuing singles from his upcoming debut project. "Kilos" and "Joy for Youth" (featuring Sir Chloe) appeared in early 2021, with the dynamic Homeless Star -- which trafficked in elements of R&B, alternative hip-hop, and pop -- arriving later that year. 2023's Boy Toy saw the artist deliver a sophisticated set of art-pop gems that touched on multiple alt-pop and R&B subgenres. The shimmering "Seasons" became a viral hit in 2024, and he followed it with the song "Say What You Mean."
