American hip-hop collective grouptherapy. specialize in big bright beats and snappy lyricism.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2019 by Jadagrace, TJOnline, Coy Stewart (aka Swim), and Rhea. In the beginning the group were linked via various singles produced by TJOnline, which they compiled on an EP titled This Is Not the Album, released in 2020. Their first single to feature the whole group, "Raise It Up," saw release in July of the same year and would feature on their debut mixtape, There Goes the Neighborhood, released in October. Rhea and TJOnline departed from the group shortly afterwards. TJOnline returned in 2022, helping to release their second EP, Truth Be Told, which featured collaborations from Tinashe and Rejjie Snow. Their debut album, I Was Mature for My Age, But I Was Still a Child, arrived the following year. TJOnline departed again in 2024, leaving Swim and Jadagrace to continue as a duo. ~ Liam Martin
