Artist Biography
Late Alabama rapper Doe B has become an inspiration to local youth and a beacon of hope for his hometown of Montgomery.
• Doe delivered his debut project, Definition of a Trapper, in 2011 and followed it up in 2012 with his second installment of the series, D.O.A.T. 2.
• In 2012, Doe released his breakout project, Trap Life (DJ Frank White & DJ Scream Present). With a music video that garnered more than 2 million views, the standout single “Let Me Find Out” established Doe as a rap heavyweight.
• After signing to T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records, Doe appeared on the label’s 2013 compilation mixtape Hustle Gang Presents: G.D.O.D (Get Dough Or Die). Shortly after its release, Doe made his major label solo debut with Baby Jesus.
• In December 2013, Doe was shot and killed at the Centennial Hill Bar & Grill in Montgomery. The following year, Grand Hustle Records released the posthumous mixtape D.O.A.T. 3 (Definition of a Trapper), the late rapper’s first project to place on the Billboard 200.
