Artist Biography

Christian Leave flipped social media success into a music career that’s allowed his quirks and whimsicality to shine through. • Born Christian Akridge, Leave hails from Wichita Falls, Texas. His father is a church pastor and a prominent figure in the community. As a teenager, Christian played bass guitar in a church band. • By 14, Akridge had amassed over 100,000 followers on Vine as “Christian Leave.” • When Christian was 14, he was invited to join the nationwide PressPlay Tour alongside other social media personalities. • After gaining a following on Vine, Leave pivoted to music. He released a cover of Kings Of Leon’s “Use Somebody” in 2015. • In 2016, he delivered the five-song collection Hope. The project includes “Please Notice,” an acoustic guitar track that has surpassed 90 million streams. • Leave independently released his debut album, Heartbreak Room, in 2018.
