Chicago rapper Cdot Honcho earned national attention with an intense style of rhyming described as “carefully controlled yelling” by Chicago Reader.
• Cdot Honcho got his start in 2014, when he was featured on Chicago drill star Lil Herb’s single “50 of Em” single.
• In 2015, he released his debut project, Honcho the EP.
• The rapper’s 2017 project Takeover includes the streaming hits “So Long” and “02 S**t,” featuring Rich The Kid.
• In 2020, Cdot Honcho self-released his eighth project, H5, featuring fellow Chicago rappers Valee and Calboy.
