American rapper Bandhunta Izzy delivers dense, lyrical bars inspired by Chicago drill and the street life of his native Baltimore. Surviving a rough upbringing involving drug dealing and street violence, Izzy built buzz with his brother and fellow rapper, Bandhunta Jugg, on their tracks "Bandhuntas" and "Bandhuntas, Pt. 2." As a solo artist, Izzy issued the singles "BBB" with Blue Benjamin Sleepy, "Rumors," and "I Got It" in 2016. The next year, he signed with Republic Records. His debut mixtape, Code Blue, arrived in early 2018 and featured appearances by Jugg, Young Crazy, Key Glock, and Peewee Longway. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
