Artist Biography
Anaís Martínez rocketed to fame following her victory on Univision's reality TV competition show Objectivo Fama. Born in the Dominican Republic, Martínez relocated to the Bronx at a young age. In 2005, she distinguished herself among her fellow competitors on Objetivo Fama with her striking appearance and commanding performances. Her debut followed shortly thereafter, entitled Asi Soy Yo, and peaked at number 79 on the Billboard charts. The song "Arriba, Arriba" was released as Univision's Fifa World Cup Soccer anthem for 2006. Con Todo Mi Corazón was released in January of 2007, climbing the charts with the hit single "Tu Amor No Es Garantía." ~ Evan C. Gutierrez
