Boy band 98° first rose to prominence during the late-’90s and early-’00s teen-pop movement.
∙ During their career, 98° had four Top 10 Billboard Pop hits, including their Platinum-certified 1998 single “Because of You.”
∙ In 1999, the quartet won Choice Breakout Artist at the Teen Choice Awards and received a Billboard Music Award nomination for Top Duo/Group.
∙ The group earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for “Thank God I Found You,” their chart-topping 2000 collaboration with Mariah Carey and Joe.
∙ To commemorate a 2017 reissue of The Lion King, 98° covered the film’s hit song “Circle of Life.”
