• Childhood friends Cam'ron and Jim Jones originally formed a trio with Freekey Zekey in 1997. Juelz Santana joined up in 1999.
• Released after a string of mixtapes, the group’s 2003 debut album, Diplomatic Immunity, reached No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
• The Diplomats added Hell Rell, 40 Cal., and J.R. Writer to their roster and released Diplomatic Immunity 2 in 2004.
• After the group went on a hiatus over creative differences, Cam’ron and Jones ended their feud in 2010. The Diplomats released their long-awaited reunion album, Diplomatic Ties, in 2018.
