Tennessee-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Meg Myers specializes in moody, alternative-leaning pop rock.
∙ In 2002, she self-released the video for her brooding, strings-laden song “Monster,” which has amassed more than 150,000 views.
∙ Influential British radio DJ Mary Anne Hobbs boosted Myers’ profile in the UK by praising and spinning the PJ Harvey-esque 2012 track “Tennessee.”
∙ Her two full-length LPs, 2015’s Sorry and 2018’s Take Me to the Disco, peaked in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Alternative Albums chart.
∙ She scored a No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Alternative chart in 2020 with her ethereal cover of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.”
