Emerging as a young lad as he climbed the ranks of the talent contest circuit, Darren Espanto has grown in the public eye. But adolescence brought a change to the Filipino-Canadian balladeer’s voice, sound and themes. His newer music explores deeply intimate issues—such as in "Sasagipin Kita", which sheds light on mental health. Espanto’s exquisite vocals are on point, his crescendos crisp, as he belts about bolder themes and creates music to awaken and comfort those growing up alongside him.
