Led by singer Shaant Hacikyan and lead guitarist Jeff Czum, Cute Is What We Aim For is an emo-oriented pop-punk band from Buffalo, New York. The duo formed the group in 2005 following the demise of a local ska band that both had played in, and by the end of the year, their online demos had gotten the group signed to the Fueled By Ramen label, home of the quite similar Panic At The Disco. The band's 2006 debut, THE SAME OLD BLOOD RUSH WITH A NEW TOUCH, was followed by 2008's ROTATIONS.
