R&B singer Case found success with mid-’90s and early 2000s with hits like “Touch Me, Tease Me,” “Missing You,” and his Ja Rule collaboration “Livin’ It Up.”
• Case got his start as a backup singer for the likes of Usher and Christopher Williams before landing his own solo deal with Def Jam Records.
• His 1996 self-titled debut reached No. 7 on the Billboard R&B chart and yielded the hit “Touch Me, Tease Me,” featuring Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown. The single went Top 5 on the R&B charts and Top 20 on pop. It was also featured on the soundtrack for The Nutty Professor.
• The singer’s 1999 sophomore effort, Personal Conversation, went gold and spawned two more Top 20 pop singles: “Faded Pictures” and “Happily Ever After.”

• He went indie in 2004 and launched his own imprint, Indigo Blue, to release his fourth album, The Rose Experience, in 2009.
