Zyah Belle draws from a gospel background and a love for the neo-soul era to specialize in mature contemporary R&B that is both mellow and full of fire. She made her commercial debut in 2014, and over a decade-plus of activity has progressed steadily with projects such as 2016's New Levels, 2019's IX, and 2022's Yam Grier. A handful of singles starting with 2024's "Lyin" -- a confrontational track approved by Rihanna -- led to an EP in 2025. Highly sought as a collaborator, Zyah has appeared on dozens of recordings headlined by the likes of fellow Bay Area native Too $hort, Kanye West, and Terrace Martin, among many others.
