In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. 'Rachel's Song' by Vangelis from the Bladerunner soundtrack. When I was a kid my parents took us to a local zoo that had a seal show a few times a day. To get people over to the seal enclosure they would play this song and you would sit and wait.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aphex Twin, Selected Ambient Works Volume II (Expanded Edition) Brian Eno, Discreet Music William Basinski, The Disintegration Loops (Remastered) I bought SAW II to help me relax and concentrate while studying for my GCSE's. A few tracks from it had featured in Chris Morris' TV show 'Jam'. That show introduced me to a lot of the music I listen to today. Best track on it has to be '#19'.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Moving” I wrote this song shortly after my father passed away in 2024. I was working in the studio creating this beautiful song and my young son came in and told me he thought it "sounded like heaven, and Opa". I found his understanding of the piece moving.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for William Basinski's show in Leeds in 2023. I also was fortunate enough to sit and chat with William too. Unforgettable.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? World tour. Club residency. Releasing a record with Kranky.
