Cuban reggaeton duo Yomil y El Dany rose to prominence with the regional hit “Tengo”—a remix of Nicki Minaj’s Grammy-nominated “Truffle Butter”—and helped define the “trapton” subgenre.
∙ The duo’s 2016 sophomore LP, Sobredosis, earned them their first Top 10 release, landing at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
