About Yes-R
Artist Biography
Born Yesser Roshdi in Amsterdam in 1986, Dutch rapper and television host Yes-R came to the art form through the influence of his cousin (and prominent rapper in his own right), Ali B. In 2003, Yes-R started appearing with the Dutch group D-Men. One of his early solo singles, "Leipe Mocro Flavor," became a hit, and he had soon built a lucrative career in both television and acting. Although he continued to record, his biggest successes to date were early in his career, including 2005's Mijn Pad and 2007's Zakenman. ~ Chris True
