The career of Filipina pop diva Yeng Constantino is a classic fairy tale. She grabbed the limelight in 2006 by winning Pinoy Dream Academy, leading to 2007 debut album Salamat featuring chart-topper “Cool-Off” and the wounded ballad “Hawak Kamay”. It made her OPM royalty; her rapid ascent shaped by her authentic songwriting and airy, lilting vocals. In 2014, she released the viral hit “Ikaw”—a grand romantic gesture for her wedding to fellow rocker Victor “Yan” Asuncion.
