With distinctive vocals and endless creativity, Yanzi Sun—aka Stefanie Sun—will forever be regarded as Mandopop royalty. Discovered by mentor Lee Wei Song, the Singaporean singer made waves with debut album Yan-Zi in 2000, thanks to her soaring vocals on hit ballads like “The Dark Day”. It helped place her at the forefront of Mandopop’s golden era of the 2000s as she went on to sell over 30 million records and win numerous awards.
