A producer, songwriter, and beatmaker, Yagobeats' creations are informed by everything from trap to indie rock, urbano, film scores, and trance. The alias of Santiago Romero, a native Colombian based in Miami, Florida, Yagobeats emerged in the early 2020s with tracks including "Beats de Trap" (with beaty) and multiple collaborations with rappers Orarki and Mc Alleh. By 2023, he was expanding his sound with solo efforts like “Lacoste” and "Por do Sol," both piano-based beat instrumentals. More-atmospheric, score-type productions including "Emotional Cinematic" and "Horror Atmosphere" followed before the end of the year, as did "Tendência," a song with manipulated rap vocals that caught fire on social media and landed in the Top 30 of the Billboard TikTok Top 50 the following year. In the meantime, Yagobeats released the collaborative EP Ssgd Zarea Vibes with G2C, amid dozens of standalone tracks and beat samples.
