Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Eagle Rock by Daddy Cool. Mum and Dad used to play this song a lot, and it was also the song that played over a VHS tape of my siblings at some sort of theme park place... not sure what it was called, but I think it was in Victoria, Australia.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? False Noise, Floral Strobe Monuments, In Stasis Tipper, Broken Soul Jamboree Tough to list my three favourite albums, but these have been crucial in influencing the kind of sound I ultimately want to make - except for "In Stasis", that just goes mega hard. I generally listen through in these in their entirety every time.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Within Tears” Intended to be played in sequence after "Reside" from "Mixtures" album. I can't really say why, but this one feels quite raw for me. Despite obvious flaws in the mix, I really like the crunchy texture the song has, which importantly formed the song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Aside from the absolutely wild journey of growing as an artist, both personally and technically, and given my quite small "career" in music, I'd say when I moved to South Australia and started studying music at university.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh, a lot... Aside from actually trying to figure out how to both do what I love and not struggle financially, I would love to visit other countries to both make new music and play live shows. That aside, mastering my craft is the ultimate goal.
