Australian multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd is a singer-songwriter known for his socially conscious lyrics and diverse musical inspirations.
∙ Solace—Rudd’s self-produced 2004 major label debut—landed in the Australian Top 20, was certified Platinum, and earned nominations for two ARIA Music Awards.
∙ His 2007 Gold-selling LP, White Moth, was his first album to break into the Australian Top 10, thanks to the regional hit single “Better People.”
∙ In 2010, Rudd worked with the bass-and-percussion duo Izintaba to release the collaborative LP Koonyum Sun.
