Spooky music project Xakei summons the 19th century and haunted parlors with songs performed on an old, extremely out-of-tune piano. Xakei's recording of "Merry Go Round of Life (Old Piano)" became popular enough on TikTok by mid-2024 to score a number 13 placement on the Billboard TikTok Top 50. The anonymous project followed up with more tracks, including the waltz "Old Doll" in August of that year.
