In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is proly just hearing the choir sing on Sunday mornings at church. It really used to be like a concert in there sometimes because the musicians were so talented and the energy was contagious.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, New Amerykah, Pt. 2: Return of the Ankh Marvin Gaye, What's Going On (Deluxe Edition 50th Anniversary) The Notorious B.I.G., Life After Death (2014 Remaster) If I was stuck on an island and could only listen to three albums the whole time I'm there it would be these. I don't think I'll ever get tired of them. Truly timeless music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “4th Dementia” I love this song in particular because I built my project Malt Talk around it. To me, each individual song had to be able to be played directly before or after this one and still fit perfect with the rest of the record...also, it just never gets old.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the best memories I have is opening up for Curren$y in Birmingham, Alabama when he was on his Pilot Talk 3 tour. That was my first time opening for another artist. I'll never forget it.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm still on my way up so there's a ton of stuff I still haven't done as an artist but top of the list would definitely be to sell out my first show. I think that'll be a moment where I look around like "Damn, I'm really doing it."
