Also known as P-dub and Pretty Willie, Willie Moore, Jr. is a Christian R&B artist, minister, actor, and nationally syndicated DJ. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, he attended the University of Mississippi and earned a degree in Psychology. Still, when good friend Nelly landed a recording contract, Moore was onboard, and got his own deal with Universal as rapper Pretty Willie. His debut single, 2001's "Roll wit Me," was a semi-sequel to Nelly's popular hit from a year earlier, "Ride wit Me," but as Moore moved toward a Christian lifestyle, his label and his conscience were at odds. When offered the feature on Tank's "Sex in the Daytime" single, Moore declined and left Pretty Willie in his past. He soon hooked up with DJ Dwight Stone and formed the Young, Fly, & Saved label. In 2011, he debuted the P-Dub moniker with the album The Turning Point, and a year later he collaborated with Bizzle for Best of Both Worlds: The Album. In 2105 he released the solo R&B hit "Work It Out" as Willie Moore, Jr. while the P-Dub name lived on via The Praise Mixdown, his weekly syndicated Christian countdown radio show. ~ David Jeffries
