Within a few years of trying his hand at rhyming, Memphis rapper White $osa emerged as one of his city’s rising trap stars.
• The East Memphis MC attended middle school with fellow rapper NLE Choppa’s older brother.
• He started his music career in 2016, when a friend convinced him to try rapping because his social media handle, White $osa, sounded like a rap name. $osa admits he was terrible at first, but he stuck with it.
• In 2018, he released his first official single, “Woah!”
• The rapper collaborated with prominent Memphis producer Tay Keith for the 2019 single “WOAH Flow.” That same year, $osa teamed up with NLE Choppa for the streaming smash “Hit the Scene.”
