White Hinterland is the songwriting vehicle of Casey Dienel, a Massachusetts native whose eclectic sound mixes jazzy arrangements with experimental electronic pop and folk. Beginning with 2008's Phylactery Factory, White Hinterland recorded three critically acclaimed LPs for the Dead Oceans label, evolving sonically with each release.
