In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I’ve always been drawn to writing and poetry. When I was fourteen i got my first microphone and interface. Since the beginning it’s always been about the art and emotions, never about the money even though making a profit with your passion is a plus.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city Mac Miller, Best Day Ever (5th Anniversary Remastered Edition) Nirvana, Nevermind I’ve taken such inspiration and influence from these albums. Listening to them made me want to be a better artist and musician. I don’t think I’d sound the way I do without them.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rain” This particular song was my first song from my album “Get Up.” It solidifies the departure from my previous music I had done, which was riddled with anger and spite directed at the world. I wanted to watch it all burn. This song was about the change.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I went to support a friend who was performing at a venue and people recognized me and my music when I walked in. They changed the entire lineup to let me perform. I performed “Sydgaf” and the crowd went wild.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to leave a legacy that inspires future artists. Musicians shouldn’t be afraid to experiment with different sounds. I guess I just want to be such an influence in the scene that you’ll find “White Boy Hustle” type beats on the internet.
