Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The earliest memory of Wayland is when Mitch and I wrote a song the first day we met and became best friends. We took the bus everyday and played on the streets for tips singing harmony on the street corners.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eagles, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 The Black Crowes, Shake Your Money Maker 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Tom Petty, Wildflowers We love hearing rock n roll influenced by country music and how when blended together it creates a whole new sonic landscape. The songs are real, honest, and transcend genre. There’s so much heart and that’s what making music is all about for us.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Too Soon to Say Goodbye” “Too Soon to Say Goodbye” was written for a friend but ended up healing us as well. It was our first release that our Phillip Vilenski (lead guitar) produced and our first song to hit the country radio charts. We couldn’t be more proud of this song.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Even with 6 charting singles on rock radio, national tours, connecting with fans in every city, deciding to finally set our roots in Nashville after writing, recording, and traveling out of here for ten years was the best thing we could’ve done.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Since the day we played our first bar gig, we've wanted to play stadiums and arenas, a world tour, play Good Morning America, Saturday Night Live, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and of course, Van Andel Arena in our hometown of Grand Rapids, MI.
