Los Angeles group Wand started off playing wickedly spooky brand of psychedelic garage rock with metallic undertones, but as the band's leader Cory Hanson loosened the reins, they shifted to a more classic rock and modern pop-influenced approach. This change was reflected on albums like 2017's Plum and 2019's Laughing Matter, and their expansive and experimental live show was captured on the 2022 double-live album Spiders in the Rain. The band changed directions once again on their more spacious 2024 effort VertigoSpiders in the Rain. The band changed directions once again on their more spacious 2024 effort Vertigo.
Members of Wand include, or have included, Cory Hanson and Daniel Martens.
