In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Just how early on in our lives we started playing music. I remember drumming before my feet were able to reach the pedals. Chris and I would spend almost every night in the basement making noise together, then with Brian around 12 -13 years-old.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cannons, Spells - Single The Neighbourhood, Hard To Imagine The Neighbourhood Ever Changing The xx, Coexist These albums are a really beautiful blend of emotion, romance, meaningful lyrics, very groovy guitar riffs and melodies, and inspire us in the way they blend their instruments with electronics. These are big favorites of ours for sure.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lost In This Ending (Reanimated)” The bones of this song were formed in 2015. We always had a great feel jamming this song on the jam floor, but were never able to capture the same vibe on a recording until this release. We let loose on it, let guitars rip, let the song breathe, etc.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Our Midnight for a While release picked up momentum that sparked a local radio tour. Notably, a big Rock/Alternative station here in Toronto, 102.1 The Edge, had us for an interview that streamed live on their social media platforms as well.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Of course. We always want to grow and make music that we're proud of, that connects with people and makes them feel the same way we do when we hear music we like.
