Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest recollection in music was joining a band in middle school. We competed with other schools.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Koffi Olomidé, Best of Koffi Olomide (Mopao Mokonzi) M3LON, Awilo - Single إليسا, Best of Elissa Koffi Olomide wins the heart of any South Sudanese person. His music is a soundtrack of our lives, the same thing with Awilo, great memories are embedded with those albums. As for Elissa, it’s her melody and lyrics that I enjoy tuning to her crafts.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dance for Me (feat. Nketia & Minz)” The universe created this record. Myself and NKETIA put this song together but we knew missing an artist, until one day randomly Minz music popped up to our radar. We managed to reached to him and he was gladly accepted and blessed us with a verse.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Creating Welcome To South Sudan record with NKETIA and Amna Millewa. It was interesting and fascinating to see something built from scratch now has came anthem of joy to whole nation.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to produce an album that as tasteful as African dishes, and colorful in sounds as an African cloth prints.
