Long Island’s Vision of Disorder formed in the early 90s as one of the leading lights of New York City’s next wave of hardcore. After paying their dues for four years, they released their acclaimed self-titled debut in 1996. Hailed as a successful new-school spin on classic New York hardcore, it was followed by the even more innovative IMPRINT two years later. IMPRINT introduced gut-punch funk rhythms and complex, moody metal, which was then expanded upon on 2001’s FROM BLISS TO DEVASTATION. They called it quits in 2002, but have re-formed sporadically for well-received reunion shows since 2006.
