Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young artist in Nairobi, I watched the Jackson 5 on our black-and-white TV, mesmerized by their moves. Those nights practicing in our living room sparked my dream of becoming a singer, forever changing my path.

Aretha Franklin, Young, Gifted and Black My top albums by Aretha, James Brown, and Marvin Gaye amplified Black voices, helped civil rights, and inspire me with powerful messages of pride, justice and hope.

Valeria Koka)” From my Nairobi studio, I produced "Blame on Me" with Ukrainian singer Valeria Koka in 2023. As she recorded amid air raid sirens, we created a song that bridges cultures and shares Ukraine's resilience.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2023, Ukrainian singer Koka and producer Visila created the hopeful song "Blame on Me" to empower and inspire globally amidst war, demonstrating music's unifying force.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As a producer from Nairobi's vibrant scene, I blend traditional Kenyan rhythms with modern beats, working to showcase our incredible talent globally and collaborate with international artists.
